The Celtic bead and charms concept is very old. Many early warriors carried mementoes of their friends and foes on bracelets and necklaces to boast of conflicts and travel to foreign parts.
Women used to adorn themselves with broaches, necklaces, bracelets and rings, using semi precious stones and colorful mementoes of their lives.
So Tara’s Diary isn’t new. It is just a modern way of conveying the Celtic symbols that we have grown to recognize and associate with.
